環球電視台（簡稱UTV）,2013年成立，於2015年10月1日正式開台上線。環球電視台是“兩彈一星國際基金會”行政管控，經香港特別行政區政府註冊並批准成立的媒體單位機構，總部位於中國香港九龍觀塘鴻圓道51號寶華企業中心21樓，目前在北京、深圳、臺灣共設立四個演播基地，分別位於北京市海澱區學清路9號匯智大廈、深圳市福田區中國鳳凰大廈、深圳市龍崗區廣弘國際影視文化產業園、臺北市內湖區港墘路185號9樓之一。 作為一家新銳媒體，環球電視台秉持著“看環球，知天下！”的立臺理念，利用數字技術、網路技術、移動技術，通過互聯網、無線通信網等管道，以電腦、手機、數字電視機等終端為載體，面向國際，關注全球新動向，以其快速、直接、圖文並茂、聲像結合的特點，採取多語種覆蓋、多媒體互動、多文化交融、多地區聯動的現代化傳播方式，多元化發展文化產業的全新模式，全面報導港澳台及國內外政治、經濟、軍事、文化、體育、旅遊等諸多領域的新聞事件和專題節目，並與廣大受眾進行線上線下的互動傳播方式。
