臺灣電視公司，全稱“臺灣電視事業股份有限公司”，簡稱“臺視”、“TTV”，創立於1962年4月28日，資本額新臺幣三千萬元，是臺灣地區第壹家電視臺。同年10月10日，由蔣介石夫人宋美齡按鈕，臺灣電視公司正式開播，開啟臺灣地區電視史。與中國電視公司（CTV）、中華電視公司（CTS）並稱為臺灣的“老三臺”。“老三臺”加上民間全民電視公司、公共電視臺，合稱為“臺灣五大無線電視臺”，簡稱“無線五臺”。
