广东广播电视台民生频道（GDTV-4）是经国家广电总局批准，以“记录时代、服务民生”为核心定位的省级专业民生电视频道，于2023年3月1日由深耕民生领域二十余年的广东公共频道升级更名而来，凭借全维度民生服务矩阵与深厚群众基础，成为广东本土最具亲和力与影响力的主流媒体平台之一。
频道的发展轨迹始终与民生需求同频共振。其前身广东公共频道自2002年7月开播后，历经多次迭代升级，2011年以“苹果台”形象转型生活服务领域，2020年实现高标清同播，2022年12月获总局批复调整为民生频道，2023年正式更名并启用红色“广”字标识，彰显民生服务的温度与担当。二十余年积淀中，频道孕育出多个国民级IP，构建的以王牌栏目为核心的融媒矩阵全网粉丝超2000万，奠定了“广东主力地面频道”的行业地位。
