广东广播电视台珠江频道（GDTV-2）是中国内地首个全天候粤语播出的省级地面电视频道，自1983年9月开播以来，始终以“岭南文化名片、民生服务先锋”为定位，深耕广东本土并辐射全球粤语社群，成为兼具权威性、亲和力与文化影响力的标杆性媒体平台。
频道的发展轨迹镌刻着岭南媒体创新的印记。开播初期因使用14号频道发射信号，被老广亲切称为“十四频道”，1988年正式定名为“广东电视珠江台”，2014年随广电资源整合更改为现呼号。从1985年创办《万紫千红》成为香港艺人进军内地的首个窗口，到1992年推出中国首档电视购物节目，再到2004年开通海外版覆盖全球五大洲粤语区，频道始终以敢为人先的姿态引领行业创新。2019年频道标识升级为红色“广”字+“广东珠江”，进一步强化品牌辨识度。
作为民生服务的核心阵地，频道构建了全方位的内容矩阵。新闻资讯领域，《珠江新闻》聚焦时政动态与社会热点，《今日关注》以“民生无小事”的定位深耕本土关切，成为全国民生新闻的典范；农业服务类栏目《摇钱树》自1988年创办至今，持续为农户提供实用农技支持；剧场方面，创下中国电视史播出时长纪录的粤语短剧《外来媳妇本地郎》已播出超4600集，至今仍保持每周更新，《珠江剧场》《王牌剧场》则包揽各类优质剧集。文化传播上，《粤讲越掂》《粤语好声音》守护粤语文化根脉，《乡村振兴大擂台》以综艺形式赋能乡村发展，《南粤工匠》等纪录片则定格岭南人文风骨。
频道凭借深厚积淀斩获诸多殊荣，截至2024年已连续十年荣获TV地标“年度品牌影响力省级地面频道”，2024年更一举斩获三项大奖，其融媒体活动与纪录片亦获国家级认可。收视表现始终领跑广东市场，自2012年起稳居广东城乡、城域及广州地区收视榜首，同时通过无线数字电视、“触电新闻”APP等多渠道实现全域覆盖，全网粉丝超2000万。
