共和县广播电视台于 2017 年 6 月正式开播，其前身为相关广播电视传播机构，2021 年 5 月以 “共和县融媒体中心（挂共和县广播电视台牌子）” 的形式完成机构整合，坚守 “新闻立台、栏目活台、技术强台、合力兴台” 理念与 “导向为魂、移动为先、内容为王、创新为要” 原则，依法依规开办广播和电视新闻综合频道，其中广播频率为 FM 96.1 兆赫，通过同频网发射覆盖全县 98% 地区，电视信号经有线网和地面无线数字发射实现同等覆盖范围，全天自办节目时长均达 17 小时；作为地方主流媒体，它紧紧围绕县委、县政府中心工作，深入宣传当地经济社会发展成就，既通过《你好，共和》《印象共和》等精品栏目讲好共和故事，又打造了涵盖共和新闻网、“大美共和” 客户端、微信、抖音等平台的 “网端微” 全媒体矩阵，以多元传播形式传递正能量，同时积极对接中央及省级媒体拓宽对外宣传渠道，不断提升共和县的知名度与影响力，成为连接党和人民群众的重要桥梁纽带。
