阿拉善右旗广播电视台于 1997 年 11 月由广播电台与电视插转台整合成立，现为阿右旗文广局二级准科级单位，内设新闻部、制作部等五个部门，拥有专业技术人员 25 人，开办 1 套广播（频率 101.6 兆赫）和 1 套电视（76 频道）自办节目，覆盖全旗苏木乡镇、工业园区及周边牧区近 2 万人，后续通过上线内蒙古 IPTV 实现全旗用户全覆盖，结束了部分偏远苏木嘎查无法收看本地节目的历史；多年来秉持 “新闻立台、栏目兴台” 思路，推出《阿右旗新闻》（蒙汉语）、《聚焦民生》《文化家园》等多个受欢迎栏目，坚持传递党的路线方针政策，及时报道本地新闻事件，开展深度报道与舆论监督，以丰富的内容和广泛的覆盖为全旗经济社会发展营造良好舆论氛围。
