长乐区电视台的前身可追溯至 1997 年 4 月 30 日成立的长乐市有线电视台，1998 年 4 月 3 日更名为长乐市广播电视台，2018 年 10 月随长乐区融媒体中心挂牌成立完成整合，成为中心核心组成部分，是福州市长乐区服务本地的主流权威媒体。它以 “传递政务声音、聚焦民生百态、彰显地方特色” 为定位，负责全区广播电视宣传工作及有线电视网络的建设与维护，节目覆盖新闻资讯、政务解读、文化展示、民生服务等多个领域，拥有《长乐新闻》《吴航大地》《吴航艺苑》等特色栏目，其中《长乐新闻》每日 20:15 首播并设有重播时段，为群众提供及时权威的本地动态；同时依托融媒体发展优势，节目同步在相关融媒平台分发，广播信号可通过 FM88.4、FM104.7 调频及车载、公众号等多渠道收听，其所在的长乐区融媒体中心曾获评 “全省优秀县级融媒体中心 30 强”，连续多年在全省县级台供稿工作中名列前茅，成为展示长乐经济社会发展、传播地方文化的重要窗口。
